Our story
For over thirty years, Frank Klaassen has been his own boss in the construction industry, learning how to do things right. But in true entrepreneurial fashion, he wanted to find a way to do things even better than that. That’s when he started working with sustainable prefab and precast concrete products. With his son Kyle managing the production side of the business, including a team of expert engineers, and James Elliott joining as Principal and CFO, Frank built Structural Precast with a desire to offer a stronger, more sustainable, more diversified line of of products suited to the western Canadian climate.

An entrepreneur with deep roots in the residential and commercial construction industries, Frank has been responsible for buildings all across western Canada for the last thirty years. But his knowledge of the construction industry may not even be his most impressive quality. In Structural Precast, he’s founded a company that delivers better products for builders and consumers, in a more sustainable way than traditional methods. He’s not one to blow his own horn, but we can say it here: Frank is a construction innovator and Structural Precast is bringing his vision of a better industry to life.
Kyle Klaassen
Principal & Production Manager
Kyle is following in his father’s footsteps in the construction industry, already running the Structural Precast plant and ensuring every product meets the strength, quality and consistency requirements at the heart of the company’s promise to builders and consumers. In fact, with his grass roots view and control of the Structural Precast operation, he may know more about precast concrete than anyone else in the company. That’s a strong start to a career.
